Agency Training Specialist

Position snapshot:
As our Agency Training Specialist, you'll create and run sessions that cover everything from our best practices, formalized Applied EPIC (AMS) workflows, and all necessary third-party software. You'll help develop both classroom and online courses, craft materials and even build tests to ensure everyone's catching on. Plus, you'll keep our training up-to-date and troubleshoot any tech issues that pop up along the way. What we're looking for: Minimum of 10 years' experience in the insurance industry, including 5 in Property and Casualty as an Account Manager or Account Executive Minimum of 5 years' experience with Applied EPIC, preferred High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework a plus Proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office 365 Suite, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive and SharePoint; capability to teach these applications to all levels of personnel Producer's license required CISR, CIC or CPCU designation preferred, not required Personal lines knowledge is preferred, not required.

Excellent prioritization and organizational skills Friendly, positive attitude with a genuine desire to assist others Strong verbal and written communication skills Effective problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail and time constraints Self-motivated and able to work independently without supervision What you'll be doing: Conduct training for new hires and existing personnel on agency procedures, Applied EPIC workflows, various Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, etc.), Adobe products, and all approved third-party software. Develop new training materials and curriculum for in-person and remote delivery, including step-by-step guides, handouts, evaluation forms, job aids, and videos. Review and update existing training materials to remain current with system changes, regulatory requirements, and department workflow initiatives. Partner with management, supervisors, and employees to identify training needs, reinforce workflow compliance, and support adoption of procedure and technology changes. Assist with Applied EPIC upgrades, third-party software testing and implementation, workflow validation, and data migration support. Troubleshoot Applied EPIC and approved third-party software issues for end users, escalating technical concerns as needed. Coordinate group training logistics, including scheduling facilities or virtual sessions, preparing materials, and setting up internal and external training opportunities. Occasional travel to other agency office locations, as needed, to conduct training and support workflow adoption
