A Military Crew Member supplies support pertinent to mission success, whether on the sea, land or in the air. Operates and maintains vehicles, targeting and firing systems, communications, and navigation equipment. Transports personnel and equipment. Operates weapons, including machine guns, explosives, and auxiliary weapons. Actions may be performed on the frontline, base, or command center either foreign or domestic. May execute support tasks critical to ship and aircraft operation.

Job Location:
This position will be located at 343 East Gay Street, Warrensburg, Mo. 64093 Responsibilities - What you'll do Works under the direct supervision of Military Funeral Honors Team Leader. Provide Military Funeral Honors support over a multi-county area. Responsible for training of subordinate workers, personnel assigned to National Guard units and Veterans Organizations. Make independent decisions concerning the procedures of accomplishing each mission. Operate and maintain military weapons and their components, maintain various logs and maintain security of sensitive items. Work is accomplished in a public environment that always requires professional appearance and performance. Describe special working conditions (Shift schedule, physical efforts, etc.) Five (5) day a week, Monday thru Friday, eight (8) hours per day. Subject to fluctuating schedule. Subject to working weekends, holidays, overtime, and in all climatic conditions as missions dictate. Works with diverse group of agencies that participate in the burial details for veterans within the State of Missouri. Lifting, carrying a heavy load as part of a team, periods of long standing, exact military maneuvers and operations in adverse weather conditions. Occasional overnight travel required. Qualifications - All you need for success Minimum Qualifications- Working knowledge of military structure, capabilities, and procedures.
- Current or retired military membership in the National Guard, Reserves or Active Duty.
- Working knowledge of the principles and practices of office organization and management.
- Possess and maintain a current Missouri Driver's License.
- Ability to manage a team and maintain a military atmosphere.
- Ability to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays. Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to communicate with professional service providers and the general public.
- Ability to function in a high stress environment involving multi requirements.
- Ability to establish time management procedures.
- Working knowledge of the principles and practices of office organization and management.
