Mobile Allison Transmission Technician

Description Mobile Allison Transmission Technician Monday-Friday:

Day Shift $30-$35/hr (depending on experience) Are you an experienced Allison Transmission Diesel Technician? We are looking for a Mobile Allison Transmission Technician to keep up our level of commitment to safety and customer service. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Repairs out of a Service Truck (ability to take home - negotiable) Working out of customer locations Truck Transmission inspection & repair Paperwork and repair order documentation Basic computer skills & good verbal communication required Assist other technicians (in shop) when needed Must be able to work independently Working mostly out of Triad, Asheville & surrounding areas EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE 3-5

years relevant experience required Allison transmission Certificate a

HUGE PLUS

Allison training to obtain certification will be required Allison, Eaton or proprietary OEM transmissions experience required Hybrid transmissions a HUGE plus PHYSICAL and

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance. The associate must be able to read and write reports. Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the last 3 years. No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years (ie., DUI/DWI). Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future. CDL is a plus Certifications preferred Must be able to obtain DOT Med Card Certificate from college or technical school Preferred Why should you apply? Clarke is over 60 years strong and growing.
