Job Description

Mobile Service Technician (AMTA) Apply now Job no: 512114 Work type: Full Time -
Permanent Location:
Arizona, USA -
Various Locations, New York Categories:
Commercial If you enjoy working at the cutting edge of automotive engineering and thrive in hands on, fast moving environments, this is an opportunity to support some of the most advanced hypercars in the world. Aftersales is central to the Aston Martin ownership experience. With the introduction of highly engineered hypercars such as the Aston Martin Valkyrie, we have established a unique direct customer support programme. This programme operates through dedicated hubs and remote locations, enabling us to support vehicles and customers globally. As a Mobile Service Technician, you will work as part of a highly skilled team to prepare, service and maintain Aston Martin hypercar customer vehicles. Your work will take place across our Monticello and Apex sites, as well as at remote locations where customer support is required. This is a varied and hands on role that combines technical excellence with mobility and teamwork. You will be involved in hypercar service and repair activities, including stripping and inspecting components, measuring parts to precise tolerances and supporting vehicle builds and maintenance. Training will be provided to enable you to work with high voltage components and hydraulic systems, including assembly, bleeding and operation. You will also support mobile service and flying spanner activities, requiring flexibility, adaptability and a solutions focused mindset. Problem solving will be a key part of your day to day work. You will investigate faults, contribute to resolving vehicle issues, and work closely with colleagues across functions to deliver the highest standards of performance and reliability. You will be expected to maintain excellent housekeeping standards, complete warranty and technical documentation accurately, and follow all health, safety and COSHH guidelines. This role is well suited to someone with a strong technical background in motorsport, supercar or hypercar environments, who enjoys working as part of a team and takes real pride in their workmanship. You will be comfortable performing detailed inspections, investigating failures and working collaboratively across engineering, service and partner organisations. A mechanical engineering qualification at level 3, along with a minimum of five years of motorsport or relevant equivalent experience, is essential. Additional training such as high voltage safety, F Gas, or compressed gases and cryogenic systems is advantageous, but not essential, as development can be supported. You will also need to be confident using standard office software, hold a valid driving licence, and be willing to travel within the UK and internationally to support engineering partners and suppliers. Above all, we are looking for someone with strong engineering fundamentals, a positive and proactive attitude, and the ability to represent the brand professionally at all times. If you are motivated by technical challenge, variety, and the opportunity to work on world class vehicles, this role offers a unique and rewarding career path.
