A range of $24.00•$29.10 an hour based on experience (+ $1.00 an hour for 3rd shift differential pay)Shift:

For this position, we are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our injection molding team. The Mold Technician is responsible for installing, removing, and maintaining molds in our injection molding machines to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime and ensuring that machines are set up correctly and safely. This role may include training in other departments for less experienced applicants given that exposure to other functional areas will be important for further progression beyond the Mold Technician role.What you will be doing:
Safely install and remove molds from injection molding machines according to production schedules. This includes proper alignment and secure mounting of molds. Inspect molds and machines for wear, damage, or defects and do basic troubleshooting before reporting issues to maintenance or tooling departments. Maintain cleanliness and organization of mold storage and work areas. Collaborate with process technicians and quality control to ensure product specifications are met. Follow all safety protocols and company procedures during mold changes and machine setups. responsible for accurate and thorough documentation and data communication What you will bring: High school diploma or GED required; previous manufacturing experience is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude and capable of learning injection molding processes.Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 50lbs or more with assistance). Standing, bending, and walking for extended periods. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required Ability to read technical drawings and setup sheets. Familiarity with overhead cranes, forklifts, and other mold handling equipment is helpful but not necessarily a must. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
