Motel Housekeeper

Responsibilities Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas efficiently and thoroughly, following established procedures. Perform floor care duties, including vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining cleanliness in hallways and lobbies. Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, linens, and other amenities to ensure guest needs are met promptly. Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards, reporting them immediately for resolution. Maintain janitorial supplies inventory and ensure cleaning equipment is properly stored and maintained. Adhere to health and safety regulations while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. Support the overall cleanliness of the property by assisting with laundry duties or special cleaning projects as needed. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality or industrial setting. Knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing surfaces. Previous hotel or motel housekeeping experience is highly desirable. Strong understanding of hospitality standards with a focus on guest satisfaction. Ability to follow detailed cleaning protocols while working efficiently under time constraints. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience with custodial management or supervising housekeeping staff is a plus.
