Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and seasoned Montessori Director to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education across a spectrum of ages from 18months
  • 6 years old.
This candidate must have experiencing managing a center with a toddler component, and be experienced working with a multi-age center facility. The Montessori Director will guide and manage staff in their daily routines, conduct daily walkthroughs, conduct and facilitate Montessori trainings for staff, provide staff schedules, ensure all operations are running smoothly, ensure the facility is fully equipped and prepared, and contribute to the daily success and standards of the school. This position will be required to have administrative acumen and a strong knowledge of Title 22. This candidate will also lead teacher trainings in accordance with the Montessori pedagogy. Responsibilities Manage all school staff and affairs related to staffing, scheduling, emails, parent and team communications, event planning, and daily staff support Ensure school activities are daily aligned with Title 22 and California standards Ensure the maintenance of a prepared environment that promotes exploration, discovery, and hands-on learning. Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Communicate effectively with parents. Conduct staff annual reviews and provide feedback as needed to staff correction plans and growth trajectories Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized facility Experience A bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Must have Admin ECE units. AMS/AMI Montessori certification is required Experience working with children in a Montessori school setting Minimum of 3 years of people management experience required Strong understanding of payroll, business processes, technology, and school management Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with staff, parents, and supervisors. A passion for nurturing children's love of learning through the Montessori approach is crucial. Must be Livescan cleared Must have TB test, First aid/CPR up to date, and
