This role involves transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in moving, driving, and handling heavy lifting tasks. You will be responsible for operating box trucks and vans, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the integrity of the items being transported. Duties Safely operate box trucks and vans for local and regional deliveries. Load and unload items using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks. Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury. Follow designated routes for efficient delivery while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including pickup and drop-off times. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Assist in warehouse operations when not on the road, including organizing inventory and preparing shipments. Ensure vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and fueled for daily operations. Experience Previous experience in moving or courier services is preferred. Familiarity with route driving is a plus. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday. Experience operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks is advantageous. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing deliveries and inventory. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
