Mover/Driver

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Mover/Driver to join our team. As a Mover/Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and furniture to various locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods and furniture
• Load and unload items onto the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging
• Follow designated routes and schedules for timely delivery of goods
• Communicate effectively with customers to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns or issues
• Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws while driving
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues or damages
• Assist with packing and organizing items in the warehouse as needed

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Mover/Driver or in a similar role is preferred
• Proficiency in operating commercial vehicles
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
