Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Step into a vital imaging role, supporting patient diagnostics through advanced MRI technology. This opportunity seeks an experienced professional committed to excellence in medical imaging. You'll be instrumental in producing high-quality MRI scans and collaborating with healthcare teams to facilitate the best possible patient care.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT or equivalent). Demonstrated expertise in MRI imaging procedures and safety protocols. Minimum of one year of recent experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical setting. Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and radiology terminology. Effective communication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary teamwork. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Schedule:
Full-time hours, specific shift details provided during the interview process.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and position patients for MRI studies, ensuring comfort and safety. Operate MRI scanners to capture clear, diagnostic-quality images per physician orders. Review physician instructions and patient histories for each scheduled scan. Maintain imaging equipment, troubleshoot basic issues, and ensure adherence to quality assurance standards. Accurately document scan information, patient interactions, and maintain electronic health records. Uphold infection control practices and departmental protocols at all times. Communicate findings or concerns promptly to radiologists and other medical staff.
