Job Overview:

Performs MRI procedures at a technical level without requiring constant supervision, Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient's age-specific needs and provide age-specific treatment and care

Qualifications:

Required:

Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology 1 year experience

Certifications and Licenses Required:

ARRT required with CEU compliance American Registry of MRI Technologist (ARMRIT) accepted in conjunction with

ARRT American Heart Association BLS Provider Certification Scheduling Requirements:

Day Shift Full Time 37.5 hours per week

Essential Functions:

Analyzes patient physical condition, age and suspected pathology for proper technique Assists Radiologist in performing certain radiographic procedures Correctly marks images with time and body position Ensures patient comfort, physical and mental well being during the examination Ensures that room is properly stocked with all needed supplies prior to the beginning of the procedure Explains procedures, keeps patient informed of progress and assists patients in transferring on to/off examination table for procedures
