Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Take the next step in your imaging career with a rewarding contract opportunity specializing in advanced MRI procedures. This position seeks an experienced MRI technologist who excels in an autonomous environment, supporting state-of-the-art imaging for a range of patients. The role primarily operates out of Greensboro, with occasional coverage at two nearby locations. A commitment of at least 13 weeks is required, offering a stable schedule while expanding your professional skills.
Schedule:
Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours guaranteed) Flexible assignment to any 3 shifts, Monday through Sunday (no nights, no on-call)
Key Qualifications:
Current ARRT (MR) certification is mandatory 5+ years of hands-on MRI experience required; contract experience preferred Demonstrated ability to start IVs without assistance Familiarity with Epic electronic health records required Proven capacity to work as the sole technologist per MRI machine Experience assisting with breast biopsies and research studies preferred MRSO certification is an added advantage
Position Details & Equipment:
Primary location: Greensboro (Siemens 1.5T and 3T) Additional coverage may be required at two alternate sites within reasonable proximity Assignment start date is as soon as possible, to be finalized after candidate selection
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality MRI scans independently, ensuring patient safety and comfort Perform IV insertions and manage all contrast protocols Support specialized procedures, including breast biopsies and research-related imaging when applicable Maintain accurate records and operate within Epic EMR Collaborate with referring physicians and clinical staff as needed If you're an MRI technologist with a strong independent work ethic and a passion for patient care, apply today to make an impact in a dynamic imaging environment.
