Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Elevate your MRI expertise by providing exceptional imaging services within a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled MRI Technologist dedicated to patient-centered care and precision imaging. You'll be operating advanced MRI equipment to assist in accurate diagnoses, ensuring both safety and comfort for each patient.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI certification required) Demonstrated experience in MRI imaging and related safety protocols Proficiency in operating MRI scanners and associated technology Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinical environment Current BLS certification
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform MRI scans according to established clinical protocols, physician orders, and departmental procedures Prepare and position patients, ensuring optimal image quality while prioritizing patient safety and comfort Review and confirm patient medical histories, allergies, and screening information prior to each scan Collaborate with radiologists and medical team members to provide high-quality diagnostic images Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment as needed; report issues promptly Accurately document all procedures, maintaining confidentiality in compliance with regulatory standards
