Desired Experience & Qualifications:

Current certification or registry in MRI technology (ARRT-MR or equivalent) Demonstrated experience operating MRI equipment in a hospital or clinical setting In-depth knowledge of safety protocols surrounding magnetic resonance imaging Ability to interact compassionately and professionally with patients of varying conditions Proficiency in customer service and patient instruction before, during, and after scans Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred Strong technical troubleshooting and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality MRI scans following physician orders, compliance standards, and departmental procedures Prepare exam rooms and MRI equipment, ensuring function and proper safety measures Position patients for optimal imaging results while focusing on safety and comfort Review, maintain, and document accurate patient imaging records in compliance with HIPAA and facility policies Communicate clearly with radiologists and care teams for timely transmission of imaging results Monitor equipment for routine maintenance and alert appropriate staff to any operational concerns Provide clear instructions to patients to reduce anxiety and clarify exam processes
