MRI/CT Technologist — St. Louis (Late Shift, Mon-Fri 11:00 AM- 7:30 PM)
Location:

Pay:
$82,000- $105,000 base per year + $4/hr late-shift differential (approx.
Differential:

- Sleep in, hit the gym, run errands when the world is empty
- $4/hour late-shift differential — roughly $8,300 extra per year
- Monday through Friday only.
ABOUT PROFESSIONAL IMAGING
Professional Imaging is a physician-owned, multi-location outpatient diagnostic imaging group with facilities in St. Louis (2004), Kansas City (2022), and Columbia, MO (2026). We specialize in MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound, and interventional services for personal-injury and LOP patients. We are privately held, owner-operated, and growing steadily for over 20 years.WHAT MAKES PI DIFFERENT
- You work with a dedicated Tech Assistant who handles patient intake, metal screening, coil staging, and room setup. You scan, they support. You are not the tech AND the aide.
- On-site Nurse Practitioner for contrast authorization and patient care. No chasing a radiologist by phone before every injection.
- LOP and personal-injury patient base. No Medicare, no Medicaid, no insurance pre-auth calls, no denied-claim appeals. Clean orders in, clean images out.
- Predictable schedule with protected volume. We do not overbook or stack last-minute add-ons after close.
EXA PACS/RIS
for worklist, imaging, charges, and STAT reads. One system, not four.- Privately held and owner-operated.
EQUIPMENT YOU WILL OPERATE
- Siemens
MAGNETOM
Skyra 3T Wide Bore (550 lb table, E11 software)- GE Brightspeed 16-slice CT available for dual-modality techs
- Pausch Paxis 100 Straight Arm X-ray with Konica CR available for cross-trained techs
EXA PACS/RIS
for worklist, charges, and STAT readsA TYPICAL DAY LOOKS LIKE
- Start 11:00 AM, check in with morning tech for handoff, review afternoon schedule
- Tech Assistant preps every patient — metal screening, clothing change, coil staging done before you start
- MRI cases through afternoon and early evening — popular with working patients
- Contrast runs until 5 PM — after 5 PM you focus on non-contrast studies
- Predictable volume, protected schedule — we do not overbook the late shift
- Close down at 7:30 PM and head home
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- ARRT-MR or ARRT-R with MR post-primary
- Missouri license in good standing (or eligible within 30 days of start)
- 2+ years clinical MRI experience on a 1.5T or 3T magnet
- BLS certification
- Comfortable with IV contrast injection
- Comfortable owning your QC, worklist, charges, and STAT read process
EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE
- Siemens Skyra 3T experience (E11 software)
- CT or X-ray cross-training (additional differential for cross-trained techs)
- Outpatient imaging or personal-injury / LOP clinic background
