Videos Duties Help Assists assigned personnel in all areas of the Arts and Crafts Program. Operes a variety of equipment in assigned area, to include computerized engravers, copiers, lettering machines, framing, he presses, air brushes, pouring tables, kilns, m cutters, choppers and hand power tools. Responsible for opering the cash register, collects money, makes changes and issues receipts. At the end of each shift, closes out the cash register, completes required paperwork and submits entire package to supervisor. Assists customers in placing special orders. Plans and executes programs reled to the Activity. Maintains security of all merchandise, equipment and funds assigned. Provides customer service, answers telephone and assists shop users with craft skill development and work procedures. With guidance from the supervisor, provides demonstrions and guidance on crafts. Maintains clean, ne and safe work area. Performs other reled duties and assists facility supervisor as requested. Qualifying Experience:

Must have experience with various artistic activities, such as ceramic molding and painting, painting with other media, fabric crafts, calligraphy and or lettering machines, engraving, glass crafts, and m cutting. Must be able to read, write, spell and figure basic mh and measurements. Must have a clear speaking voice and be able to deal with the public. May work uncommon work schedule, including weekends. Requires continuous standing, walking and stooping. Subject to metal and wood splinters, adhesives, paint fumes, cuts, burns and bruises. You must be physically able to lift and carry items up to and including 50 pounds. Must be able to sisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must be able to sisfactorily complete a Nional Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Must successfully complete a favorable Tier I background investigion. Must have and maintain valid US and driver's license. This is a designed drug testing position; the incumbent is subject to random drug testing thereafter. A pre-employment physical exam is required to ensure the ability to lift and carry 50 pounds and endure the physical vigor's of the position.
