Mtn Bike Mechanic

Basic Function and Overview:

The Bicycle Mechanic is responsible for inspecting and maintaining the rental fleet at the Adventure Center. Additional work on customer bikes completed when possible. Assisting with bicycle rentals during peak periods is sometimes necessary.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:

Inspect and diagnose bicycle issues, including brakes, gears, and tires. Perform routine maintenance, such as cleaning and lubricating components. Repair or replace damaged parts, including chains, tubes, and brakes. Adjust gears and brakes for optimal performance and safety. Assemble new bicycles and ensure they meet safety standards. Keep a clean and organized workspace

Required Education and Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent Must be 18 years or older Previous experience in a bicycle repair shop or equivalent experience
