The A-level technician can diagnose, repair and complete a project without any assistance or supervision. They will have years of experience and will keep up with the advanced training needed to do his/her job correctly. He/she has demonstrated mastery of all vehicle systems and has leadership, mentoring and communication skills. Also has the ability to work well with customers. May specialize in a certain system (Electrical/Electronic, Powertrain, Engine/Transmission, etc.). The expected flat-rate efficiency level is 120%+.Duties & Responsibilities:
Key Result Area #1:Vehicle Repairs Expert Diagnostics:
Perform complex diagnostics on engine, transmission, electrical, and HVAC systems using advanced computerized equipment.Complex Repairs:
Execute major repairs including engine overhauls, transmission rebuilds, and electrical system troubleshooting.Quality Control:
Test drive vehicles and perform digital vehicle inspections (DVI) before and after services to ensure safety. Test drive vehicles and document results for marketing. Key Result Area #2:Mentor/Customer Service Mentorship:
Guide junior technicians and review their work to maintain shop quality standards.Customer Communication:
Explain complex technical issues to customers and service advisors clearly.Skills & Qualifications:
Computer literate with a good proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, Office 365, UKG HR; able to complete documents, reports and accurately record information. Excellent communication skills- written, verbal and instructional. Prove to be teachable; organized with the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks at once; able to listen and follow instructions. Flexible to variable shift times and punctuality. Valid Washington/Idaho driver's license

ASE Master Technician Certification:
Must have passed all A1-A8 tests.Experience:
Generally, 5-10 years of professional automotive repair experience.Education:
