$19-$35 per hour, based on experience Job Summary We are hiring a skilled Multi-Skilled Handyman for residential construction, remodeling, repair, and punch list work throughout the Chicagoland area. This role is for someone with hands-on experience in drywall, painting, flooring, trim carpentry, and millwork . Basic plumbing and basic electrical experience are also needed. We need someone reliable, detail-oriented, and able to complete quality work in customers' homes without constant supervision. Responsibilities Drywall repair, patching, sanding, and finishing Interior painting and touch-ups Flooring installation and repairs Trim carpentry, including baseboards, casing, molding, and doors Millwork installation and finish details Basic plumbing repairs, including faucets, fixtures, toilets, and minor leaks Basic electrical work, including outlets, switches, light fixtures, and minor troubleshooting Complete punch list items after remodeling or construction projects Measure, cut, install, repair, and finish materials properly Keep jobsites clean, safe, and organized Communicate clearly with the project manager and team Requirements Experience with drywall, painting, flooring, trim carpentry, and millwork Basic plumbing and basic electrical experience Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely Able to take accurate measurements and follow instructions Strong attention to detail Reliable transportation Valid driver's license preferred Able to lift materials and work on active jobsites Must be dependable, professional, and on time Preferred Experience Residential remodeling experience Finish carpentry experience Door, trim, baseboard, cabinet, or built-in installation Flooring experience such as vinyl plank, laminate, hardwood, or tile Punch list and repair work experience Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Compensation $19-$35 per hour Pay depends on verified experience and skill level Higher pay available for candidates with strong multi-trade experience Schedule Full-time In person Work is throughout the Chicagoland area
