Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Music Teacher for students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 3rd grade. The ideal candidate will foster a love of music through engaging, age-appropriate instruction that nurtures creativity, collaboration, and self-expression. This role involves teaching foundational music concepts, developing students' rhythm and vocal skills, and introducing various musical instruments and genres. Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive music curriculum that caters to various age groups, including preschoolers and adults. Foster an understanding of music theory, history, and performance techniques among students. Utilize effective behavior management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their musical growth. Collaborate with other educators to integrate music into broader educational programs. Organize and lead performances, recitals, or showcases to celebrate student achievements. Qualifications A valid CA Single Subject Teaching Music credential with English Language Authorization (ELA) or CLAD.
