At the Region level, assists HR Specialists assigned to the Recruiting Section in performing a full range of recruitment and staffing duties including the above and the following: Contacts selectees and offers positions. Provides initial background investigion documents to appointees after offer of position. Prepares new hire documents for oriention. Ensures employee official personnel files (OPFs) are organized properly and all pertinent documention is filed properly and timely. Maintains job vacancy files, ensuring adherence to regulions. Notifies applicants of non-selection. General (includes but not limited to): Develops spreadsheets (e.g., Excel, other dabases) to support work associed with one or more of the HR functional areas. Receives and answers general questions from customers reled to one or more of the HR functional areas and refers questions of a more complex nure to the HR subject mter expert for action/response. May serve as the main point of contact for timekeeping mters to include entering da, upding timecards, running reports and performing pay period end processes. May be required to present HR-reled training to FFR personnel. Prepares and inputs Personnel Action Requests (PARs) into SAPHR and other employee changes. Enters da into recruitment and staffing trackers for updes Maintains various files; performs file disposals according to prescribed schedule. May initie and process T1 background investigion documents including electronic questionnaires for NAF Personnel serving in Non-Sensitive positions. Coordines with cognizant Activity Security Manager for investigions requiring T3 level and above. Generes reports serving various purposes (e.g., staffing res, due des, etc.). Recommends changes to standard procedures. Attends required local and regional meetings as HR representive. Health & Welfare plans (e.g., receives/reviews enrollment applicions for completeness/accuracy, receives/reviews changes and terminion actions for completeness). Resolves benefit claim issues through interaction with insurance carriers, other HR branches, employees, etc. Composes correspondence to employees, retirees, former employees, CNIC Regions/Installions, and/or third party vendors to obtain informion needed to ensure prompt processing of contributions and for disseminion of benefits reled informion. Assists with coordinion of annual enrollment efforts and monthly new hire enrollments. Requirements Help Conditions of employment Must be a U.S. Citizen. This is a non-critical sensitive position requiring the incumbent to obtain and maintain security clearance eligibility the secret level. Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verificion check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment. Must be able to obtain and maintain a T3 Secret Security Clearance. Qualificions 1 year of clerical and/or admin experience 2 years NAF HR experience preferred. Knowledge of and skill in applying general HR theories, concepts, and/or practices to perform a variety of support reled assignments in the areas of classificion, recruiting, employee relions, labor relions, benefits, retirement and employment suitability. Knowledge of forms, punctuion, grammar, and clerical steps to process and prepare correspondence and documents in an accure manner. Knowledge of Federal records procedures and regulions (e.g., documention retention requirements, OPF structure). Ability to provide general advice and assistance on interpretion of basic HR policy and regulions reled to the specific HR functional area to which assigned. Skill in the use of a Human Resources Informion System (e.g., SAPHR, KRONOS, etc.) and federal job postings plform (e.g.

). Skill in the use of Microsoft Office Programs (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook). Ability to prepare clear, concise, and technically sound reports reled to the specific HR functional area to which assigned. Ability to communice effectively both orally and in writing.
