National Account Manager Trainee/Retail Marketing Coordinator Trainee

BASIC FUNCTIONS

The basic function of a National Account Manager Trainee/Retail Marketing Coordinator Trainee is to grow second-tier accounts, provide support and backup for primary accounts and work closely with Retail Marketing Manager to support all Innova accounts.

National Account Manager Trainee Functions Include:

• Protecting the interests of the company in all interactions with customers, agencies and employees when creating proposals for new or current account new business.
• Maintaining the accuracy of paperwork to a degree that Sales, Accounting, Warehouse, or other departments do not have to perform additional work to correct discrepancies that should have been found in the Sales Department.
• Developing and maintaining accurate and timely reports that track key measures of Account performance to be reported to VP of Sales.
• Making recommendations to management based on analysis of reports for appropriate action to correct negative trends.
• Supporting the Sales Manager in completing tasks that ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the department.
• Other assignments as requested by Supervisor.

Retail Marketing Coordinator Trainee Functions Include:

• The Retail Marketing Coordinator Trainee's purpose is to assist the Retail Marketing Manager in all aspects of Innova's marketing programs related to the support of our retail partners and internal projects.

The Retail Marketing Coordinator Trainee will work with the team to help brainstorm, create/implement, and proof retail point of purchase displays, product packaging, content writing, sales presentations, trade shows, product content, and more.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 2
• 5 years' experience in Sales Support
• Inside and Out.
• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or relevant program.
• Ability to achieve results through the management of others.
• Strong attention to detail, planning and strategizing, negotiation, adaptability, and stress tolerance.
• Automotive diagnostics knowledge
• High DIY or entry level technician.
• Experience using CRM software, crystal reports, Microsoft Office.
• Experience in Sales and Marketing presentations, proven ability to achieve sales targets and basic business principles.
• Knowledge of communication between hardware and software is preferred.
• Performance Driven.
• An interest in the automotive industry and DIY car repair is a requirement.
• Ability to plan and organize day/week around multiple productive activities concurrently.
• Strong attention to detail to minimize and catch mistakes.
• Self-reliant and resourceful.
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
• High proficiency with MS Office (PowerPoint is a must) and web-based applications.
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) Ability to commute/relocate: Work location: Irvine, CA 92614: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work This is NOT a remote job
