Job Description
What we need: We are seeking energetic, passionate people who enjoy the outdoors and want to play a key role for the position of Natural Resources Technician 3 within the Division of Parks & Watercraft, headquartered at Muskingum River State Park , assigned to Morgan county. The address is 547 East Riverside Drive, McConnelsville, Ohio 43756. What you will do… Work outside in some of the most beautiful parks in Ohio. Perform customer service functions with a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction and safety. Operates the lock system allowing boats to safely pass through the locks of the historic Muskingum River Navigation System. Maintains the lock system and navigation channel of the historic Muskingum River Navigation System. Maintain a variety of park equipment and vehicles. Interact daily with a variety of customers who utilize the park & watercraft facilities. Starting hourly pay of $22.60/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 4 years of service, with an end salary of $25.77/hr. There may also be cost of living adjustments (COLA) applied. Longevity pay supplements begin after (5) years of state service. For more details, refer to the OCSEA pay range schedule & longevity rates.
