Position Summary The primary location of this position is on-site in Cullowhee, NC. This position is subject to the State of North Carolina Human Resources Act ( SHRA). Complete administrative support associate duties related to the newly formed Department of Integrated and Environmental Health Sciences program. The successful candidate will possess excellent oral and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, general computer knowledge, and willingness to learn new computer applications such as Banner, Catamart, Canvas, and university website management software. Work in collaboration with the Department Head to manage departmental and other (i.e., grant) funds, including initiating and monitoring equipment purchases, supply orders, travel requests, and other related responsibilities. Additional required skills include excellent time management, a collaborative and professional approach, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate strong initiative and foresight, with the ability to anticipate needs, proactively address challenges, and adapt to evolving priorities. Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
