Your future starts here. EGGER North America's Summer Internship Program provides college students with meaningful, hands-on experience designed to connect academic learning with real-world business and manufacturing operations. Interns work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to meaningful projects, and gain exposure to the processes, people, and collaboration that support a global manufacturing organization. Depending on the assigned department, interns will have opportunities to develop practical skills, expand their professional knowledge, and gain insight into their chosen field while learning how different functions work together to support the business. Through mentorship, collaboration, and hands-on experience, the program is designed to help students build confidence, strengthen professional skills, and establish a foundation for future career growth. Interns will also build meaningful connections with their intern cohort through intern outings and networking opportunities. This is a paid summer internship program based at EGGER North America.

HR RESPONSIBILITIES JOB FUNCTIONS

(Job functions will vary based on the specific internship assignment and may include but are not limited to the following:) Support assigned department with day-to-day activities, projects, and business initiatives.

Apply academic knowledge and developing professional skills to real-world assignments.

Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners to support departmental objectives.

Participate in meetings, training opportunities, and other professional development activities like intern lunch and learns.

Assist with gathering, organizing, analyzing, and/or presenting information related to assigned projects.

Learn and follow applicable departmental processes, procedures, and company standards.

Develop an understanding of EGGER's business operations and how individual departments contribute to organizational success.

Demonstrate initiative by asking questions, seeking feedback, and actively participating in learning opportunities.

Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and accountability when completing assigned responsibilities.

Follow all applicable safety policies, workplace procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Complete assigned projects and provide updates or presentations on work performed, as applicable.

Embody EGGER Core Principles, Progress, Respect and Quality, in all aspects of work activity.

Other duties and projects as assigned.

SCHEDULE DEMANDS

Generally, an 8-hour, Monday-Friday assignment. Work schedules may vary based on the specific internship assignment, department, and business needs and may occasionally include early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends. Interns are expected to maintain regular attendance and punctuality according to their assigned schedule.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Sitting or standing for extended periods of time up to 8 hours.

Occasional Lifting up to 20 pounds.

Physical demands and working conditions may vary based on the specific internship assignment and department and may include working in office and/or manufacturing environments, standing or walking for extended periods, and exposure to typical manufacturing conditions.

Ability to use computers and other electronic devices as required by the assigned internship.

Ability to perform the essential functions associated with the specific internship assignment, with or without reasonable accommodation.

QUALIFICATIONS BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE

Previous professional experience is not required; relevant academic, volunteer, extracurricular, or work experience is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to manage assignments, meet deadlines, and follow through on responsibilities.

Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company policies, procedures, and guidelines.

SKILLS, EDUCATION, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS

Degree in progress at an accredited four-year college or university.

Pursuing a degree related to the selected internship area or a related field.

Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.

Ability to learn new systems, processes, and technologies.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Ability to communicate effectively with employees at various levels of the organization.
