Job Description

Are you a motivated and talented Network Cable Technician looking to work on exciting projects, showcase your skills, and take control of your own schedule? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Network Cable Technician to join our team. As an NCT, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team and contribute to innovative projects in the IT industry.

At Coast to Coast Technicians, we understand the importance of a well-functioning computer network, which is why we offer a comprehensive range of services to meet all your network needs. Our offerings include new construction, infrastructure upgrades, and security camera installations.
Position:
Network Cable Tech Responsibilities:
Collaborate and Plan :
Work closely with our team and clients to understand project requirements, participate in planning, and contribute creative ideas and solutions to enhance project outcomes.
Travel and Execution :
Travel to various project sites, applying your expertise in [Job-specific skills] to deliver high-quality work within specified deadlines, while implementing industry best practices.
Communication and Adaptation :
Maintain clear communication with team members and clients regarding project progress, and adapt to feedback to ensure successful project delivery.
Network Cabling Installation :
Installation, termination, and testing of copper and fiber optic cabling systems. Familiarity with Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6a cabling standards is desired but not required.
Knowledge of Network Infrastructure :
Proficient understanding of network infrastructure and telecommunications systems, including knowledge of wiring schematics, cable management, and network equipment installation.
Problem-Solving Skills :
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network cabling issues quickly and efficiently, including diagnosing connectivity problems and performing necessary repairs or reconfigurations. We are willing to train the right individual who demonstrates a strong work ethic, base knowledge of the industry, and an eagerness to learn.
Requirements:
Proven experience and proficiency in the IT industry. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-notch results. A reliable internet connection and necessary tools/software to perform the job. (Provided if needed) Must have reliable transportation.

All pay will be done on a weekly schedule.
Availability:
M-F. We encourage our Field Techs to work on the side, as we cannot guarantee 40 hours a week starting.

$27.00 - $31.00 per hour
