Deliver high-impact instruction across networking fundamentals, infrastructure, routing & switching, wireless, and network security — preparing students for industry certifications including CompTIA Network+, Security+, and CiscoCCNA/CCENT
pathways. Design hands-on labs, simulations, and real-world scenarios that go beyond the textbook, while tracking student progress and coaching learners through challenges every step of the way. Connect the classroom to the workforce through job-readiness skills, industry trends, and employer expectations. Collaborate closely with program directors, fellow instructors, and local employers to keep our curriculum relevant and immediately applicable.Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years experience in networking, systems administration, or a related IT field, along with industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, or Cisco CCNA. Possess or qualify for an Ohio Career Technical educator's license. Ability to obtain or currently hold a valid Ohio Career-Technical Education (CTE) teaching license in Business Information Systems, or a willingness to pursue licensure, is required. A solid background in current industry software, a valid Ohio driver's license, and positive Background checks (BCI/FBI) are mandatory. A passion for people and prior teaching or mentorship experience is preferred. The genuine desire to invest in students and the community we serve and ability to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging instruction.Salary:
