Neurofeedback Technician Reports to :Director of Counseling & Wellness Center Employment Type :
Part-Time Hourly Pay Range:
$22-$28 per hour Position Summary The Neurofeedback Technician supports children and adult clients in improving cognitive flexibility and control, helping alleviate symptoms related to mental health conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and chronic pain. This role emphasizes delivering high-quality care and collaborating with the clinical team to maximize client outcomes. Scope of Duties Treatment & Client Care Develop and implement neurofeedback treatment plans tailored to individual client needs. Administer neuropsychological assessments and collect comprehensive health/medical/neuro intake data. Acquire and submit quantitative EEG data for further processing. Monitor and evaluate client responses to neurofeedback sessions, coordinating with the clinical team for any adjustments. Maintain clear, detailed, and confidential records of sessions, goals, and treatment responses on the CCPC electronic health records system. Communication & Coordination Maintain regular communication with clients' therapists to discuss patient care issues, behavior/safety plans, and any therapeutic challenges. Schedule client appointments using the CCPC electronic health records system. Complete intake paperwork and create profiles for new clients. Equipment Management Clean, maintain, and inventory neurofeedback equipment, supplies and office. Communicate supply needs to the Office Coordinator. Training, Meetings, & Supervision Attend required training and supervision sessions. Communicate availability with the Director of Counseling and the administrative team. Participate in monthly staff meetings and occasional collaboration meetings, contributing to discussions on client care quality. Meet with the Director of Counseling & Wellness monthly. General & Other Duties Represent CCPC values in all professional interactions. Perform additional duties as assigned (W2 only). Expectations Demonstrate a commitment to the values of collaboration, excellence, leadership, and respect. Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving skills and multitasking abilities. Uphold HIPAA confidentiality in all client-related activities. Complete background checks, review and acknowledge necessary policies, standard operating procedures, and codes of conduct. Maintain current malpractice insurance. Meet professional credentialing or licensure requirements. Ability to work face-to-face with clients in a professional and sensitive manner, especially when working with diverse and vulnerable populations. Qualifications Neurofeedback training, with preference given to experience in the Othmer Method (ILF) and IASIS (MCN). Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in neurofeedback and related areas. Strong computer and technical skills. Knowledge of neurophysiology, anatomy, EEG brain waves, neurofeedback equipment, brain training techniques, and the effects of nutrition on the brain. Demonstrated teamwork, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to protect client privacy, uphold client dignity, and provide excellent customer service.
