Job Description
Job description We have an immediate opening for a surgical scheduling position in a fast-paced private neurosurgery practice. Hours of operation are typically 8:30 am-5PM Monday through Friday; however, it varies depending on our patients' needs (including nights and weekends). We offer competitive hourly rates and health insurance for full time employees. Looking for full time & part time employees. The compensation varies based on work history. Seeking dedicated individuals who will be key employees as we grow and evolve. We have offices located in Stuart, Palm Beach Gardens, Lake Worth, Delray, Boca & Hollywood. Ideally would like an employee willing to travel between all locations. Primary responsibilities are, but are not limited to: Providing a safe and therapeutic environment for daily treatment sessions. Effectively interacts with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare workers. Participate in the insurance authorization process, track visits, schedule patient appointments, & coordinate care. Demonstrate a high level of flexibility to meet patient needs. Maintain accurate and timely patient records. Provide educational consultations to interested patients. Must have strong oral and written communication skills. Obtain authorizations for surgeries, DME, home health, etc. Office administrative tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails, scheduling appointments, and handling all medical records in compliance with HIPAA. Assist surgeon in procedures. Review medical history, current medications, current symptoms, and take vitals. Close the communication gap between our office, hospitals/surgery centers, cosurgeon/referral physician offices, and the patient. Must react calmly in emergency situations and make appropriate and timely decisions. This position requires travel to all our locations (Lake Worth, Palm Beach Gardens, Delray Beach, Boca, Hollywood, & Stuart).

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Organizational and time management skills. Displays a "patient first" mentality. Self-starter and self-manager. Exemplifies strong work ethic and operates with the highest level of integrity inside & outside of the office. Courteous & respectful attitude with all patients, staff, and doctors. Physically able to walk, stand, stoop, and bend.Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree. CPR/AED certified.Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
Orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, or pain management experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Fluent in Spanish. Experience with ECW.Similar remote jobs
