New Coffee Shop Seeking Full Time Barista

Job Summary We are excited to welcome a passionate and energetic individual to join our brand-new coffee shop as full-time Baristas! In this dynamic role, you will create our delicious espresso beverages and cashier as needed as well as other tasks throughout our shop. Tips will be included as well! Age requirement, 16+. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, Lotus, and specialty beverages with precision and care. Operate Square POS systems for order processing and cash handling. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards across the café area, including food preparation and food handling procedures. Occasionally manage Square Register POS transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations. Assist in food preparation tasks to ensure timely service during busy hours. Uphold health regulations by adhering to food safety protocols and proper food handling practices. Support team members in daily operations, including serving customers promptly and managing retail math for sales accuracy. Qualifications Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for sales transactions and inventory management. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques. Experience in serving, cashiering, or retail math enhances your fit for this role. Reliable team player with a passion for coffee culture and creating memorable guest experiences.
