Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer Technician and become a vital part of creating comfortable, efficient environments for our clients. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your mechanical expertise and field service skills will drive success in a fast-paced, rewarding setting where every day presents new challenges and opportunities to showcase your craftsmanship. We are committed to supporting your growth with comprehensive training and a collaborative work environment. Duties Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation equipment, and heating appliances according to schematics and HVAC design plans Conduct system troubleshooting using tools such as ohmmeters and refrigeration gauges to diagnose issues accurately Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) equipment to ensure peak efficiency Repair mechanical components, plumbing connections, boilers, and refrigeration systems with precision and care Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to guide installation and service procedures Utilize welding skills for ductwork fabrication or repairs when necessary Conduct property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems, including appliance repair and general mechanical upkeep Qualifications Proven experience in construction, HVAC installation, or as a service technician within the HVAC/R industry Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in refrigeration, plumbing, welding, and boiler systems Ability to read schematics and HVAC design documents accurately Field service experience with a focus on equipment repair and maintenance Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus for specialized roles Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a driver preferred Proficiency with tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to work independently or as part of a team We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment where skilled technicians can thrive.
