New Construction Plumber

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled New Construction Plumber to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems on new construction projects. Your expertise will help ensure that all plumbing installations meet safety standards, building codes, and project specifications. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install plumbing systems in new buildings. Install, assemble, and connect pipes, fixtures, valves, and other plumbing components using hand tools and power tools. Perform pipe threading, cutting, fitting, and welding to ensure secure and leak-free connections. Collaborate with construction teams, including carpenters and HVAC specialists, to coordinate installation activities on-site. Conduct inspections of plumbing systems during installation to verify proper alignment, pressure testing, and compliance with building codes. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues related to plumbing or related systems during construction phases. Lift heavy materials safely and operate construction equipment as needed while adhering to safety protocols. Read and follow schematics and technical instructions accurately for efficient project execution. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials responsibly. Support remodeling, maintenance, or field service tasks as required throughout the project lifecycle. Experience Proven experience in construction plumbing or related field service roles on commercial or residential sites. Familiarity with construction site safety standards and OSHA regulations. Hands-on experience with pipe threading, welding, installation of fixtures, and schematic reading. Knowledge of HVAC systems and basic mechanical principles is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and basic carpentry tools effectively. Strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate installation work. Prior experience in remodeling or handyman tasks is advantageous but not mandatory. $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
