Night Auditor

Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Night Auditor, where you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth overnight operations at our hotel or resort. This energetic position combines guest relations, front desk management, and administrative duties to deliver exceptional guest experiences around the clock. As a Night Auditor, you will be the first point of contact for late-night guests and ensure that all financial and operational records are accurately maintained. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment that encourages guest loyalty and satisfaction. Responsibilities Greet and assist guests arriving during the night shift with check-in, check-out, and inquiries, providing outstanding customer service with a friendly attitude. Manage front desk operations using multi-line phone systems, ensuring prompt and professional communication with guests and staff. Conduct nightly audits of hotel accounts, verifying billing accuracy, updating records, and preparing financial reports to ensure all transactions are correctly processed. Handle guest requests, resolve issues efficiently, and maintain positive guest relations to foster a welcoming atmosphere. Monitor security cameras and perform routine safety checks around the property to ensure guest safety and property security. Document shift activities through detailed reports, incident logs, and audit summaries for management review. Support hotel management by coordinating with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to address guest needs promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel operations, preferably in a front desk or night audit role. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued. Knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems is preferred. Excellent phone etiquette and professionalism when interacting with guests over the phone or in person. Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining high standards of hospitality and security. Previous experience working in a resort or hotel environment is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to handle guest relations with tact, patience, and enthusiasm.
