What You'll Be Doing Safely operate an excavator during night shift quarry operations to support material production Load, move, and stockpile raw materials to maintain efficient workflow Perform routine equipment inspections and promptly report any issues Follow site safety procedures and traffic patterns to protect people and equipment Collaborate with plant and quarry team members to meet nightly production goals What Are We Looking For Demonstrated capability to operate excavator equipment safely and efficiently Strong safety awareness and commitment to established procedures Ability to work independently and remain alert during night shift hours Dependable, team-oriented approach to meeting production objectives Physical capability and coordination to perform essential job functions Physical Demands of the Job Ability to sit for extended periods while operating heavy equipment Ability to climb on and off equipment using ladders and steps Ability to use hands and feet for repetitive motions, controls, and fine motor coordination Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items typically weighing up to 50 pounds with or without assistance Ability to visually assess surroundings and hear warning signals or communications Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check, Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
