Non CDL Yard Hostler

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Non CDL Yard driver, where you will play a vital role in maintaining efficient yard operations and ensuring the safe handling of freight. This energetic position involves managing the movement, load, and unload of various types of trailers and freight within our yard. You will be instrumental in supporting the overall logistics process, assisting with route driving, trailer swaps, and equipment management. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help keep our operations running smoothly and safely every day. Duties Drive non-commercial vehicles within the yard to move trailers, containers, and equipment efficiently Manage trailer swaps for refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and other specialized freight vehicles Perform routine inspections of trailers for safety, cleanliness, and proper documentation before loading or unloading Support yard organization by ensuring all equipment is properly stored and yard areas are clean and safe Skills Experience with truck driving or commercial driving in various trailer types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks Proficiency in operating yard equipment safely Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles and tractor-trailers preferred Strong understanding of route driving principles for timely deliveries within a yard environment Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and support logistics operations Join us in a role that keeps our logistics moving forward!
