Non-Commercial Drivers License Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and responsible Non-Commercial Driver's License Driver to join our transportation team. In this role, you will operate a 26ft box truck to transport goods, equipment, and personnel safely and efficiently across designated routes. Your expertise in driving different types of commercial and non-commercial vehicles will ensure timely deliveries, smooth operations, and exceptional service. Duties Safely operate a range of 26ft box truck with a focus on safety and compliance with traffic laws. Load and unload cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks, liftgate, or manual handling techniques while ensuring proper securing of loads. Drive route-specific vehicles for deliveries, pickups and, maintaining punctuality and professionalism at all times. Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, mechanical condition, and cleanliness before each load. Maintain accurate logs of mileage, Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs), and fuel consumption, delivery records, and vehicle maintenance reports. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, or team members regarding schedules, delays, or issues encountered during trips. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving across various vehicle types including box trucks, and heavy equipment operation. Strong knowledge of Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) and driving regulations and safety standards for trucks. Mechanical aptitude for basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance checks on commercial vehicles. Ability to load & unload cargo efficiently using pallet jacks and liftgate. Excellent communication skills to coordinate routes and relay information clearly to team members or clients. Experience with route driving in diverse environments such as urban areas or construction sites. Physical capability to move freight or assist with heavy lifting; warehouse experience is a plus.
