Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Make a difference in patient care as a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist, applying your expertise in advanced imaging to support accurate diagnoses and optimal outcomes. In this contract role, you'll play a crucial part in delivering high-quality Nuclear Medicine procedures tailored to physician requirements.
Schedule/Hours:

Key Responsibilities:
Perform Nuclear Medicine imaging and related procedures according to physician specifications, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout. Properly operate all Nuclear Medicine equipment and maintain high standards of imaging quality. Prepare, educate, and position patients for examinations; safely transfer and support patients as needed during procedures. Execute accurate preparation and administration of radioisotopes in line with Radiologist protocols. Maintain accurate records for radioisotope receipt, usage, storage, and disposal in compliance with regulatory guidelines. Uphold sterile technique and infection prevention best practices at all stages of the imaging process. Evaluate image quality, submit images and pertinent clinical information for Radiologist interpretation, and ensure clear communication with patients, providers, and leadership. Effectively coordinate exam schedules to deliver efficient and seamless care. Manage department supplies responsibly, maintaining accurate charge capture and inventory. Consistently follow Radiation Safety Measures (ALARA) to prioritize the well-being of patients and staff. Balance multiple tasks and projects, meeting productivity standards and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
