Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist eager to make a meaningful impact in a supportive healthcare environment. This contract role focuses on delivering high-quality imaging services using the latest nuclear medicine technology, collaborating with skilled team members and supporting specialists.
Qualifications:
Valid certification and registration in Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMTCB or ARRT-N). Demonstrated proficiency in imaging - nuclear medicine procedures and protocols. Solid understanding of radiation safety and infection prevention best practices. Effective communication skills with patients, families, and medical teams. Prior contract or hospital experience in nuclear medicine is preferred.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine imaging procedures as ordered by physicians. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols. Accurately operate all nuclear medicine equipment, troubleshooting as necessary. Document all procedures and patient records clearly and efficiently. Monitor patients during scans, promptly responding to clinical needs. Ensure that all equipment is maintained and quality control standards are met.
