Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Take the next step in your diagnostic imaging career by providing essential nuclear medicine services in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract opportunity offers you the chance to make a direct impact on patient outcomes using advanced imaging technology and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT or ARRT-N) required Graduation from an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Proficiency in performing and interpreting a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures Solid understanding of radiation safety protocols and regulatory guidelines Prior experience in a hospital or clinical imaging environment preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to adapt quickly, prioritize workload, and maintain accuracy under pressure
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic procedures Operate nuclear medicine equipment and perform imaging studies as ordered by physicians Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout exams, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations Assess image quality, report findings, and collaborate with radiologists for accurate diagnoses Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of exams and patient records Maintain equipment and participate in quality control programs Explain procedures to patients and address any concerns or questions Uphold high standards of patient confidentiality and professional ethics at all times By joining this healthcare team, you will be part of an environment that values technical expertise, compassionate care, and clinical excellence.
