Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Advance your healthcare career by providing key support as an Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Technologist. This contract opportunity calls for a professional with expertise in nuclear medicine and experience operating advanced imaging technology. You'll work alongside a skilled medical team, playing a vital part in patient diagnostics and care delivery.
Key Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program Active certification from ARRT (N) and/or CNMT Current state licensure as required Proficiency with nuclear medicine equipment, including PET and SPECT scanners Minimum of one year of recent nuclear medicine imaging experience preferred Strong knowledge of radiation safety procedures and patient care protocols Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members
Responsibilities:
Perform a range of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to safety guidelines Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment and related software Educate and support patients before, during, and after exams, ensuring comfort and understanding of procedures Maintain accurate records of procedures, patient histories, and test results Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate results and excellent patient care Adhere to all regulatory, institutional, and safety standards Take advantage of this chance to use your skills in nuclear medicine to impact patient outcomes in a dynamic medical environment.
