Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in nuclear medicine to a dynamic imaging environment committed to top-tier patient care. As a nuclear medicine technologist, you'll work with advanced imaging technology and a collaborative healthcare team to ensure diagnostic procedures are delivered with precision and compassion.
Schedule/Hours:
Contract position Full-time schedule
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid certification or registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB or ARRT-N). Demonstrated proficiency in imaging protocols, equipment operation, and safety standards related to nuclear medicine. Previous experience in a clinical setting performing nuclear medicine procedures preferred. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Attention to detail and the ability to follow complex procedural guidelines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for imaging procedures. Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic scans. Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort at all times. Accurately document and report examination results to physicians. Manage equipment calibration and quality control processes. Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety regulations and best practices. Provide clear explanations and reassurance to patients prior to and during imaging studies. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff to coordinate patient care.
