Job Description

14570 - Nuclear Planner Scheduler (onsite) -
Palo, IA Start Date :

Temporary Project Estimated Duration:
12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting :
100% of the time at the Client's site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client. Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.
Required:
  • Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Palo, IA (required);
  • Experience with P-6 Primavera scheduling software;
  • Technical experience preferably in a nuclear facility in Engineering, Maintenance, or Operations (6-10 years);
  • Experience independently leading maintenance scheduling and trend analysis activities;
  • Experience with computer software programs such as Microsoft Office, Online scheduling applications, Work management processes.
Preferred:
  • Completion of a Maintenance Trade apprenticeship program;
  • Associate's degree in Engineering or related physical science (or prior relevant military experience as equivalent). Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Prepare, analyze, and publish daily P-6 work schedules to optimize equipment availability and manpower usage;
  • Monitor schedule progress and recommend appropriate modifications;
  • Document schedule problems, maintain statistics, and perform trend analysis;
  • Develop computerized critical-path schedules for day-to-day maintenance activities;
  • Develop and manage schedules for refueling and maintenance outages;
  • Act as liaison with engineering department and/or vendors to coordinate activities;
  • Provide guidance to non-exempt employees as assigned. Why apply?
