Job Description

Following all protocols and procedures for clinic staff. Assist director with preparing cadets billing information. Ensure all Doctors orders are carried out. Assist with sick call Supervise cadets at the cadet hospital as required. Arrange appointments for cadets for referrals to physicians in Mexico, Columbia, and other surrounding areas. Assist with coordinating transportation of students to their appointments Provide follow-up evaluations on students as required Order cadet medications and notify Director of cadet clinic supplies to be ordered Order cadet clinic supplies as directed by Director of Health Services Contact parents with procedures for their son to be seen for physical therapy, lab work, x-rays, or other medical tests. Contact parents with procedure to follow for their son to be seen by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Psychiatrist, fax paperwork to the family and set up appointments for cadets to be seen. Follow up with parents after cadet's medical appointments Communicate and coordinate medical issues/status of boys with parents in a timely manner. Assist with clinic flu immunizations Assists Health Clinic Manager with maintaining and ensuring complete medical information is kept on each member of the student body. Certified and current LPN. Ability to handle emergencies in a calm, professional manner. Have strong listening skills. Desire to work with and educate young males from diverse backgrounds with their real and perceived problems.
Time management:
be able to organize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Email and willingness to learn school software programs.
