Schedule:

36 hours per week 12-hour shifts (7:00 pm - 7:30 am) Every other weekend required

Qualifications:

Current RN license Demonstrated experience working with high-risk mothers and infants Previous employment at a high-risk or tertiary care facility Current BLS and NRP certifications Skilled in thorough and accurate documentation Strong communication abilities; adept at asking detailed and open-ended questions for patient assessment Ability to work autonomously and as a proactive team member Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and provide comprehensive patient care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Delegate and supervise care as necessary, ensuring teaching and support for patients and families Effectively communicate vital patient and family details to the healthcare team Address and resolve variances from patient care goals, implementing actionable solutions Maintain meticulous documentation of all care-related activities
