Job Description
About the Role We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Manager (RN) to join our primary mental health residential treatment center in Georgia. The ideal candidate will have prior nursing leadership experience within a behavioral health or psychiatric treatment environment and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. This position will oversee the nursing department, support daily clinical operations, ensure compliance with state and Joint Commission standards, and provide leadership to the nursing team. Candidates with experience working with acute psychiatric populations are strongly preferred. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong behavioral health nursing leader looking to grow within a mission-driven treatment organization focused on patient care, clinical excellence, and team collaboration. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day nursing operations within the residential treatment program Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff including RN's and LPN's Assist with staff scheduling, onboarding, training, and performance management Ensure high-quality patient care and safe clinical practices Monitor medication administration and nursing documentation for accuracy and compliance Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, case managers, and executive leadership regarding patient care and treatment planning Assist with crisis intervention and behavioral de-escalation when clinically necessary Maintain compliance with Georgia state regulations, Joint Commission standards, and company policies Participate in audits, quality assurance initiatives, and process improvement efforts Help develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and best practices Foster a positive, trauma-informed, and patient-centered treatment environment Support communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams Qualifications Active Georgia RN license required Previous nursing leadership or Nurse Manager experience in behavioral health, psychiatric, or residential treatment settings required Experience working with primary mental health populations preferred Acute psychiatric experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of psychiatric medications, behavioral health treatment practices, and crisis management Knowledge of Joint Commission standards and behavioral health compliance requirements preferred Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced behavioral healthcare environment Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Experience with EMR systems and clinical documentation Preferred Experience Residential treatment experience Experience supervising nursing teams in a behavioral health setting Trauma-informed care experience Experience with audits, accreditation readiness, and regulatory compliance
Pay:
$95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per yearBenefits:
