Reporting directly to the Director of Cancer Services with matrix collaboration to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Nurse Manager Oncology leads a diverse and friendly team of infusion RNs, nurse navigators, oncology educators, APPs, pharmacists, social workers, and schedulers; core responsibilities include daily operations, staffing and competency development, performance improvement and quality metrics, accreditation readiness, patient throughput and access, financial stewardship, policy and protocol optimization, pain and symptom management initiatives, and partnership with research teams to expand clinical trial access in the ambulatory setting.
