Nurse Manager, Behavioral Health/Acute Stabilization Center Status/Shift:
Full Time, Day-shift Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Behavioral Health/Acute Stabilization Center. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of behavioral health nursing practices. This role is responsible for overseeing nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and managing daily operations within the center. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and manage nursing staff to deliver exceptional behavioral health care.
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate patient care activities to ensure effective and timely treatment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation requirements.
  • Manage staffing schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate staff training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
  • Address patient and family concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Qualifications Preferred:
Master of Preferred Qualifications:
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is highly preferred, except for candidates assigned to a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), where a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is acceptable. Completed coursework or program requirements should include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Required:
Candidates must possess 3-5 years of relevant clinical experience, with demonstrated leadership skills in a high-acuity, inpatient behavioral health unit setting. Experience managing nursing staff and coordinating patient care in a fast-paced environment is essential.
Completed Course Work/Program:
