Join Our Team as a Nurse Manager - Labor and Delivery! Are you a seasoned obstetric nursing professional ready to lead with excellence? We are seeking a dynamic Nurse Manager to oversee our Labor and Delivery department, ensuring exceptional patient care, operational efficiency, and team engagement. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of maternal health services in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred) or equivalent clinical experience Minimum of five years of obstetrical nursing experience, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities Proven ability to manage department operations, staffing, and resource allocation Excellent communication and team-building skills Ability to lead daily huddles and serve as Charge Nurse when needed Current nursing licensure in Massachusetts, with
BLS, ACLS
healthcare provider certifications, and NRP (required) Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional growth and staying current with new trends in nursing and patient care Nice to
Have Skills:
Previous supervisory or managerial experience in a hospital setting Inpatient OB certification Experience in perinatal education and 24-hour department oversight Knowledge of department scheduling, staffing plans, and operational strategies
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher At least five years of obstetrical nursing experience with leadership responsibilities Previous supervisory roles within hospital labor and delivery units
Other Requirements:
