Nurse Manager - Maternity Care Center/OB

In this role you will be: Developing objectives, policies, and procedures to formalize and implement the mission, vision, values, and strategic plan of the hospital. Formulating and monitoring capital, personnel, and operating budgets. Directing staffing and scheduling of personnel. Planning and coordinating orientation and educational needs of the staff. Directly supervising employees in the delivery of care. Maintaining a good working relationship with other disciplines and physicians. Promoting positive public relations as a representative of the Nursing Department. Managing multiple projects. Leading meetings, discussions and process improvement initiatives when needed to promote quality outcomes regarding patient care. Audit controls, required to remain alignment in compliance with regulatory standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field, or actively pursuing

EXPERIENCE

5 years recent nursing experience preferred 3-5 years progressive leadership experience

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

Current license as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania. BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire Related professional certification preferred
