Nurse Part-time Nights

Participates in resident assessment and care planning activities. Revises care plan, as needed. Does all the required and incidental charting of events and ADLs for the unit's residents. Assists in admission, transfer or discharge of residents. Communicates to the physician the needs of the resident. Reviews, transcribes, and implements physician orders. Administers treatments and medications, as necessary. Orders pharmaceuticals. Renews and records narcotics as required. Communicates with residents and families all changes in condition, incidents, events, and requests. Gives direct care, answering call lights and alarms, as needed. Directs, supervises, and assists staff in delivering nursing care. Access resident's status and contact physician for recommendations and orders. Responds to emergency situations and deals with them appropriately, notifying physicians and families.
